Our quality assurance system and product specifications are based on internationally recognized HACCP principles and a stringent quality monitoring program from harvesting to delivery of customer ready products. Our quality management and production team is trained in principles of seafood quality, sanitation and hygiene. In addition to employing at sea harvesting controls and quality monitoring, we provide ice, insulated containers and refrigerated rapid transportation systems to ensure the freshest seafood possible. Our investment into modern processing technology, equipment and freezing systems ensures that our product consistently meet customer specifications. Our facilities and finished products are inspected by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) which ensures compliance with fish quality and food processing regulations. The agency conducts annual HACCP compliance verification and provides Certificates of Health, Origin and Hygiene. Our internal quality assurance system incorporates principles of best practices, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and product traceability. We support third party auditing by our customers and international quality certification agencies.
